Thomas Gammon

Thomas Gammon, who has been with the firm for 18 years and has nearly 24 years of engineering experience, is a senior CAD designer with a wide range of experience in structural and foundation design, project management, existing structural evaluation, team leadership, and providing internal software training to the Elrod team. He also has significant experience designing and optimizing large complex structures utilizing 3D finite element analysis software, providing his clients with sound yet cost-effective structures.

 

Gammon has design experience with DOT requirements for breakaway systems for signage. He is experienced in conducting on-site installation observations for sign foundations and structures to ensure adherence to all installation procedures and engineering specifications. As an in-house collaborative effort, Gammon’s experience stretches into computer and network administration and software design and training. Additional experience has provided him with hands-on design experience of process piping plants, more than 100 unique aluminum extrusions, fabrication machinery design and build, electrical wiring harnesses, 3D CAD modeling and animation, and design, build, programming, and use of CNC machinery.
